“Hi, I'm Erin Hoffmann!

I practice the ancient art of linocut printing. Linocut printing is both meditative and physical. You feel the resistance of the material. You learn to trust your hand. And then you press the block to paper and something multiplies — the same image repeating across a sheet like a rhythm. But somehow each piece is still unique to itself, sometimes a press adds or misses a mark, the ink bleeds just a little differently, the paper catches the texture in its own way. No two prints are ever truly identical, and that is the magic I chase.”
